Korean drama and movie filming sites have become popular tourist destinations. Filming frequently takes place in arboretums thanks to their beautiful settings. Among the most popular of these arboretums are the arboretums at Beartree Park in Sejong Metropolitan Autonomous City and Herb Hillz and Forest 12 in Dalseong-gun, Daegu. Beartree Park was a filming location for the Korean TV dramas My Princess and Shark and Herb Hillz, Forest 12, and Hwawon Resort were used to film the drama It’s Okay, It’s Love starring Jo In-sung and Gong Hyo-jin. The Mabijeong Mural Village and Forest 12 were also featured in the variety show Running Man. All of these locations continue to draw large groups of visitors.
