Seokjojeon opens as the Daehan Empire Historical Museum
The restoration of Seokjojeon Hall in Deoksugung Palace started in October 2009. Five years after the restoration project started, Seokjojeon has been reborn as the Daehan Empire Historical Museum. An opening ceremony will be held in front of Seokjojeon on October 13, 2014, the same date the Korean Empire was declared.
